About
I'm Noah — a software engineer who builds things, breaks things, and occasionally writes about both. I spend most of my time on infrastructure, developer tooling, and the kind of side projects that start as "this should be simple" and end as a three-month obsession.
This site is a testing ground for two blogs that share the same foundation but have very different personalities. Use the theme toggle in the header to switch between them:
- Lagoon — the technical blog (noahkiss.dev). Monospace-forward, tighter spacing, developer-oriented. For writing about code, architecture, and homelab adventures.
- Meadow — the personal blog (noahkiss.me). Serif, editorial, generous whitespace. For longer essays about systems, incentives, craft, and whatever else I'm chewing on.
Both run on Astro with the same cactus theme base. The visual differentiation comes from CSS custom properties — fonts, spacing, content width, and component-level styling that switches with the theme. Same HTML, different atmosphere.
